1. About UnFnish3D Business

UnFnish3D Business is an independent shop operated by Don Hopkins, based in Portland, Oregon. We specialize in handcrafted, made-to-order 3D printed horror collectibles and decorative pieces. All items are produced individually by hand.

2. Made-to-Order Policy

Every item in our shop is made to order. Nothing is pre-built or sitting on a shelf. When you place an order, we begin production specifically for you. This means:

• Production time can take anywhere from two weeks to two months, depending on the size, complexity of the order, or UnFnish3D Business order volumes at the time of order. Please take this into consideration when you place your order.
• Shipping time is additional and depends on your location and the shipping method selected — at Etsy checkout for online orders, or as agreed with us for in-person orders and preorders.
• Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by USPS or other carriers once the item has shipped.
• You will receive a tracking number by email once your order ships.

3. Cancellations

Because production begins shortly after your order is placed, cancellations are only accepted within 24 hours of purchase. To request a cancellation, contact us immediately at info@unfnish3dbusiness.com with your order details.

After 24 hours, we cannot guarantee cancellation as production may already be underway. If production has begun, we reserve the right to decline the cancellation request.

Preorders placed in person with a deposit follow the cancellation and refund rules in Section 7.

4. Coming Soon — Interest Signups

Some products on our site may be listed as "coming soon" before they are available for purchase. You may sign up to be notified when a coming-soon item launches by providing your email address through the "I Want This" form. Please note the following:

• Signing up for a launch notification is not a purchase, reservation, or binding commitment of any kind. It is an expression of interest only.
• Signing up does not guarantee that the product will launch, that it will be available at any particular price, or that it will be available to purchase at all. We reserve the right to cancel, delay, or modify any coming-soon product at our discretion.
• When a coming-soon product becomes available, we will send you a one-time notification email at the address you provided. We will not add you to any ongoing mailing list.
• You may request removal from our interest list at any time by contacting us at info@unfnish3dbusiness.com.

5. Commission Requests

Our "I Want One Made" feature allows customers to submit a commission inquiry for sold-out items. Please note the following:

• Submitting a commission request is not a purchase or binding order. It is an expression of interest only.
• We will contact you at the email address provided to discuss availability, pricing, and timeline before any order is placed.
• Commission pricing and production timelines are discussed and agreed upon individually. Production time for commissioned pieces follows the same two-week to two-month window outlined in our Made-to-Order Policy above.
• A commission becomes a binding order only when both parties have agreed to terms and payment has been completed through Etsy or an agreed payment method.
• We reserve the right to decline any commission request at our discretion.

6. The Forge — Vision Submissions

The Forge is a commission portal that allows customers to submit custom ideas for pieces that don't yet exist in our shop — original visions, character reimaginings, scenes, or anything else you'd like crafted from darkness. Please note the following:

• Submitting a vision through The Forge is not a purchase or binding order. It is an expression of interest and a starting point for a conversation.
• We will contact you at the email address provided with options, a timeline estimate, and a quote before any order is placed.
• Quotes are not binding until both parties have agreed in writing and payment has been completed.
• Custom vision pieces may require longer production timelines than standard products — this will be communicated during the quoting process.
• We reserve the right to decline any vision submission at our discretion, including requests that are not feasible to produce or that conflict with our values.
• Submitting a budget range is optional and helps us tailor our response. It is not a binding commitment to any price.

7. Preorders & Deposits

You can preorder a piece in person at conventions, markets and other events, or by sending a preorder request through our website.

Website preorder requests:

• Submitting a preorder request is not a purchase or a binding order, and no payment is taken on our website.
• We'll email you to confirm the final price (painted and unpainted prices may differ from the listed price) and explain how to pay your deposit.
• Your preorder is placed only when we have confirmed it and received your deposit. Until then, either of us may cancel the request at no cost, and we may decline any request at our discretion.

Once your deposit is paid (in person or after a website request):

• We record your name, email address (and phone number or shipping address if you choose to give them), the piece you ordered, whether it will be painted or unpainted, the total price, the deposit you paid, and how you paid.
• We email you a confirmation with your order number, the total price, the deposit received, and the balance due. Please check it and contact us right away if anything is wrong.
• We'll email you an estimated completion date soon after your order, and send updates as your piece moves through production. Completion dates are estimates, not guarantees, and generally follow the two-week to two-month window in our Made-to-Order Policy. Painted pieces may take longer.
• Deposit refunds: your deposit is fully refundable until we begin printing your piece. To cancel before then, email us and we'll refund your deposit to the original payment method. We'll email you when printing begins; from that point the deposit is non-refundable, because the piece is being made specifically for you.
• If we cancel your order or are unable to complete it for any reason, we will refund everything you have paid in full.
• The remaining balance is due before your piece ships, or at pickup. We'll tell you the amount and how to pay when your piece is ready.
• In-person payments may be taken by cash, card, Square, PayPal or Venmo. When you pay electronically, that provider's terms also apply. We record only the transaction or receipt number for our records — we never see or store your full card details.
• Because every piece is handcrafted, small variations in color, finish and detail are normal and are not defects (see Product Descriptions & Colors below).

8. Returns & Refunds

Because all items are custom made to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item arrives damaged or defective.

If your item arrives damaged:

• Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@unfnish3dbusiness.com
• Include your order information and clear photos of the damage, including the packaging
• We will work with you to make it right — either a replacement or a refund at our discretion
• Claims submitted after 48 hours of delivery may not be eligible for a refund or replacement

We are not responsible for damage caused by improper handling after delivery, or for items lost after confirmed delivery by the carrier.

9. Lost or Missing Packages

If your tracking shows a package as delivered but you have not received it:

• Check with neighbors and any secure locations on your property
• Contact your local USPS post office with your tracking number
• Contact us and we will assist in filing a claim with USPS where eligible

We are not responsible for packages lost or stolen after confirmed delivery. For high-value orders, we recommend choosing a shipping option with signature confirmation.

10. Payment

How you pay depends on how you order. All prices are in US Dollars (USD).

• Online orders: purchases from our website are completed through Etsy's secure checkout. When you click "Buy on Etsy," you are taken to our Etsy listing to complete your order, and by purchasing on Etsy you also agree to Etsy's Terms of Use. In some cases, a direct PayPal payment link may be offered as an alternative.
• In-person purchases: at conventions, markets and other events, you can pay directly by cash, card, Square, PayPal or Venmo.
• Preorders and deposits: deposits are paid in person, or — for website preorder requests — by the method we send you by email (Square, PayPal or Venmo). Nothing is charged when you submit a request on our website. When your piece is ready, we'll email you the remaining balance and how to pay it — for example, by Square, PayPal or Venmo, an invoice or payment link, or in person at pickup. See Section 7 for deposit and refund terms.
• Commissions: paid through Etsy or another payment method we agree on in writing (see Sections 5 and 6).

Card and app payments are processed by the provider you choose (Etsy, Square, PayPal or Venmo), and their terms also apply. We never see or store your full card details — for direct payments we keep only the payment method and a transaction or receipt number to match your payment to your order. We will only ever ask you to pay through these methods, and payment requests will always come from info@unfnish3dbusiness.com.

11. Shipping

We ship from Portland, Oregon using USPS. For online orders, shipping costs are calculated at Etsy checkout based on your delivery address and package weight. For in-person orders and preorders that ship, we will tell you the shipping cost before you pay your balance. We are not responsible for customs fees, duties, or import taxes for international orders.

Currently we ship within the United States only. International shipping availability may change — check the FAQ on our shop page for the latest information.

12. Artistic & Fan Art Disclaimer

Some items in our shop are inspired by characters from popular horror films, books, and media. These pieces are created as artistic interpretations and fan art, crafted by independent sculptors and printed and finished by UnFnish3D Business.

We make no claim of ownership over any third-party intellectual property. All character names, likenesses, and associated trademarks are the property of their respective owners. UnFnish3D Business is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any film studio, publisher, or rights holder.

These pieces are sold as collectible art objects for personal display and enjoyment.

13. Product Descriptions & Colors

We make every effort to accurately represent our products through photographs and descriptions. However, colors may appear differently depending on your screen settings. Minor variations in finish, texture, and detail are inherent to the handcrafted nature of our products and are not considered defects. Each piece is unique.

14. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or ban users from our site at our sole discretion, including but not limited to cases of abusive behavior, fraudulent activity, or violation of these terms. In such cases, a full refund will be issued for any cancelled orders.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UnFnish3D Business shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or purchase of our products. Our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the amount paid for the item in question.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of our website or placement of orders after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

17. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our site shall be resolved in the courts of Multnomah County, Oregon.
